Welcome to The Forgotten Awards
What we are about...
Originally The Forgotten Awards was created to help increase traffic of the contestants' site as well ours'. But it has grown from that to being much more. Many webmaster's and webmistress' value our awards. We try to introduce something new with each version of our Awards competition, sometimes that's hard but we usually find a way. The awards given to the winners are awards for their hard work and they show that people do actually appreciate their work. With that it improves the self-esteem of the webmaster (or webmistress) and in turn they turn that boosted self-esteem towards their site and it becomes even better.
What has changed since last year...
Well I tried to come up with new ideas to make the competition more interesting, but it was very hard. Anyhow a couple changes were made this time around. A better contact form has been installed, a new layout, a couple new categories to participate in, etc.. But the biggest change is whats going to happen after the voting. This year there is two parts to the voting. The first being the same as always; where the visitors vote for a site through a poll. However the second part of the voting is left up to me. I will go through the sites and the one I see fit as best in that category will get a boost of 10 votes counted in the end. I will also put up on the site my reasons for choosing those sites, and how I believe they can improve even more!
